The Units of the PEQC

Each unit in this center is focused on one educational domain linked to a particular qualification. Financial advisory services, Investment examinations and Insurance are examples of such domains.

Within each domain, there may be one or more educational programs and each program is managed by a program manager as a business. Designed with extreme rigor, these programs are multi-disciplinary and lead to diplomas and professional designations.

1. The Investment Qualifications Unit

   This unit is responsible for the development of courses and qualification exams designed to qualify individuals working in the field of investment services. This requires the Unit to build strong relationships with the regulators and the industry.




2. The Financial Advisory Services Unit

   The Unit manages the Financial Advisory Services Programs, namely: Personal Financial Planning and Wealth Management. These programs aim at equipping individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to give financial advice to clients.




3. The Insurance Qualification Unit

   This Unit is currently working with the Insurance industry and the regulator to develop Qualifying exams for a number of functions needed by the industry, in addition to educational programs leading to designations.




4. The English Language Qualifications Unit (ELQU)

   This Unit offers comprehensive General English programs as well as English for special purposes courses. It also conducts qualification exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC and the SLEP test.
