IOB and CME

• We are pleased to announce that , pursuant to a memorandum of understanding signed with the Capital Market Authority, the IOB will be in charge of administering, updating and maintaining all CMA exams. The first exam (CME – 1) will be administered on 5th April, 2008 at the IOB premises

Motor Accident Assessors Exam

• The Institute of Banking announces the launching of the first Insurance Licensing exam for Motor Accident Assessors in cooperation with NAJM and SAMA. It is expected that up to 300 Motor Accident Assessors will take the exam over the next 2 years. The first exam was held 24th of November in Al Khobar with the participation of 28 NAJM employees.

The Certified Portfolio Management Programe

• The Institute of Banking proudly announces the launching of its new program in financial advisory services "The Certified Portfolio Management Program" or CPM. The first of its kind in the Kingdom, this program will provide the financial market with professionally trained Portfolio Managers. The first run of the program is announced for January 2008.

Financial Advisory Services

• • The I.O.B has launched 2 new runs of the financial advisory services, one run for Financial Planning and another run for Wealth Management. In total, the IOB has delivered 12 runs of the first program and 5 runs of the second over the last 5 years.
